Dear Electrospec,Last
Sunday, Gil Strachan performed a home inspection on a home we were considering purchasing.
This was the first home inspector we have ever hired and now say that we would never buy a
home without an inspection.
First, let me tell you how impressed we
were with Gil. He was very personable, friendly and was genuinely interested in both the
industry and our home. Gil made himself available to do the inspection on a Sunday on a
long weekend. Something few other businesses would even consider doing.
The inspection took three (3) hours and was
very thorough. Gil examined everything, from the foundation to the shingles on the roof He
investigated the furnace, electrical panel, the hot water heater, the insulation, every
electrical outlet and central vacuum hook-up. He looked for water damage, leaks, cracks
and probably a few things I don't even know about.
Gil not only pointed out problem areas and
potential problems areas, but also suggested things we could do now to eliminate future
difficulties. Gil also gave us maintenance tips to ensure things run properly and last
longer.
The binder we were given has lots of
helpful tips in it (which) have already proven to be useful.
Electrospec and Gil get two thumbs-up from the
two of us. Gil was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we would recommend him and his
services to anyone.
Yours truly,
