Scheduling Tips |
Some notes you may find helpful when
scheduling a home inspection.
|
- We schedule inspections from Monday thru
Friday at
approx. 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
- Our phone lines are open
every day.
- We encourage clients to attend our inspections, which
usually take about 2.5 - 3.0 hours to complete,
with the written report provided on-site, right at the end of the
inspection. (Inspections performed in the absence of our
client usually take about 1.5 - 2.0 hours, with a
briefing provided at a later time.)
- Our schedule is quite flexible, however we try to avoid
starting inspections at times such as 11:00 am for example,
as this would generally preclude an
inspector from serving a client at either 9:00 am or 1:00 pm -
although we could easily accommodate a
client’s arrival at anywhere from 10:00 am -
12:00 am, providing that the inspector had access
to the property up to two hours earlier.
(The same would apply for
afternoon appointments.)
- If a conditional offer has not yet been presented, or is
awaiting acceptance, an inspection can be scheduled tentatively - we will reserve an
appointment time.
- We can normally schedule
same-week inspections and sometimes
even next-day requests, however if you
are able to call sooner, you will be better assured of an
appointment at the time of day which you and your clients prefer.
- In addition to the written report and a copy of our 400-page
Home Reference Book, our flat fee of $400.00
(+gst)
also includes Follow-up
Service at no extra cost.
Your clients can call for information and advice,
for as long as their own their homes!
