Inspectionfocus

Addressing the needs of individual home
buyers and the real estate community.

Gil Strachan, NCH #000087

What can Electrospec do for homebuyers?

  • At Electrospec we can help make difficult decisions much easier... and for a modest investment, the yield is high:  The expert information that's needed now, and peace of mind later.

  • The purpose of a home inspection is to provide prospective purchasers with useful and relevant information about the house they are buying.

  • Our inspections are like individual seminars.  We spend about three hours in an interactive process during which homebuyers learn the status of the mechanical, structural and finish components of their new home.

  • We address any concerns homebuyers may have, and help them to save money by explaining how to make the necessary repairs, and in the most cost-effective manner.

  • Our comprehensive report will distinguish between items that need to be repaired or replaced, areas that may need routine maintenance, and components that may be suspect at the time of the inspection.

Free WETT inspections...

  • There's no need to schedule separate inspections for wood-burning stoves and fireplaces, when you can have them inspected during a regular home inspection - and get it done at no extra cost!

  • Save a lot of time and money by letting us handle the WETT inspections.

Inspecting home
inspectors

Not all home inspectors are created equal.

In real estate transactions some things never change.  Sellers usually feel they've given their house away, buyers believe they've paid too much and Realtors worry that neither side will ever get to the closing table.

There is however, one thing that has been inconsistent in real estate transactions: the quality of the home inspection.

That has changed somewhat in recent years with the inception of professional home inspection associations.

Home inspection is however not a licensed profession and membership in one organization or another is not always the best way to measure competence.
